It's Show Time

Every year in my dance school we hold 2 dance shows. The first one involves the full school all ages and classes. This is our biggest show of the year and runs for two nights (usually the Friday and Saturday). This year our show is the 13^th and 14^th of May and is held in Cardinal Newman High School that has a large stage and auditorium which is not too big or expensive for our dance school (I have added a picture of what this venue looks like from the outside). Every class does 1 or 2 dances per style of dance and the show lasts for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Parents, aunts, uncles, friends, cousins etc are all welcome to come, tickets cost around £7/8 and £5 for children and the elderly. Even though the build up for the shows are physically tough and stressful the outcome is always positive and everyone always compliments our dancing ability. The second show we do is done in December and again in Cardinal Newman High School though this show is only for the senior girls. This show gives the girls in my class an opportunity to show off their talent individually through solo dances or duets that are choreographed by them. The senior show is the one i enjoy the most as we get a chance to dance more and we do not have the responsibility of looking after the younger children.
